Seahawks Secure Play-off Spot with Thrilling Overtime Triumph over Rams.

Game-winning play in overtime

Tight end Saubert made the decisive two-point play for the Seahawks.

The Seattle Seahawks engineered a remarkable comeback to overcome the Los Angeles Rams in extra time, clinching their spot in the postseason.

Overcoming a sixteen-point deficit in the final period, the Seahawks emerged victorious by a single point at home, registering their fifth straight win.

While the Los Angeles had already secured a post-season spot earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team booked their return to the postseason after a 24-month absence.

With this outcome, the Seattle now lead their division's race with a twelve and three mark, supplanting the Los Angeles, who fell to the fifth playoff position with an 11-4 standing.

Action Highlights

Signal-caller Sam Darnold had two interceptions but recovered to deliver two scoring throws, including the tying score to wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a 13-7 advantage at the break before Kenneth Walker III burst through for a 55-yard touchdown run for the home side.

Rams defensive back Josh Wallace then took back Darnold's initial pick for 56 yards, setting up a one-yard touchdown by Blake Corum on the next play.

In the fourth quarter, a scoring pass from Matthew Stafford to Nacua pushed the Rams' lead to sixteen points, but Rashid Shaheed provided the hope with a 58-yard return for a score.

Darnold then connected with Barner in the endzone, and a converted two-point play sent the contest into an extra period.

Although Puka Nacua raced in for his second touchdown in overtime, Jaxon Smith-Njigba answered in kind to setup the game-winning score.

Notable Performances
